Real Estate Agent Pre-Licensing Training
The South Dakota Real Estate Commission requires 100 hours of pre-license education prior to you taking the South Dakota Real Estate licensing examination. The 100 hour course of study offered by the Black Hills School of Real Estate is approved by the commission pursuant to SDCL 36-21A-34 and Chapter 20:69:04. The Black Hills School of Real Estate offers the required 100 hours as follows: 54 hours of Distance Learning This portion of the course acquaints and educates you with the basics of real estate and is a very important part of preparing you for the State Licensing Exam. The student must have access to a CD compatible personal computer and the internet. 6 Hours of This training involves study specific to the Principals & Practice of real estate in 40 Hours of Broker Associate Classes This training takes you through some of what you’ve already been exposed to in the Distance Learning phase and expands it. You must attend the Broker Associate classes in a live classroom setting. (3) Primary Costs: Tuition Cost, Testing Fee and License Application Fee We accept cash, check, Master Card & Visa. Also, a financing plan is available through a lender W.A.C.
